The sound of these big breakers is amazing...listen and you might hear them too.

Today we are being hit with a big storm. It's possible the Garcia River will flood Highway One. After four years of subpar rain years, it is exhilarating to experience these storms.

Amy Ruegg recently visited the Stengel Beach public access trail on The Sea Ranch. She found the waterfall flowing with a rainbow reflected next to it.

A series of storms has rumbled through the Mendonoma Coast. Today is a "wait five minutes" kind of day - first it's raining, then the sun comes out, whoops - it's raining again! Of course we are having rainbows. Beth Kattleman photographed a spectacular one recently at The Sea Ranch.

There is a faint double rainbow over the vibrant one. Linda Bostwick photographed a rainbow appearing next to a hailstorm near Point Arena.

There is fog offshore today, but not inland - at least in Anchor Bay and Gualala! It's sunny and warm, but we know it won't last for long.
