Perry Hoffman was down at the Gualala Point Regional Park for this recent sunset. Perry said no one else was on the beach, just him, a couple of Harbor Seals and quite a few Gulls.

It doesn't get much more beautiful than this!

Thanks to Perry for allowing me to share his photo with you. To see much more of Perry's art and photographs, here is the link to  his website: https://magentaraven.com/

Our clear, calm weather is coming to an end for a while, and clouds are beginning to pour in. Rain is on the way!

Rob and Shannon Sunderland were celebrating their wedding anniversary last month. They visited the Point Arena Lighthouse and climbed the tower to the top. Here's the photo Rob took.

You will have to click on the photo to see it properly. Here is one of my favorite photos of the lighthouse tower taken at dusk by Mike Nelson.

Thanks to Rob and Mike for allowing me to share their photos with you here.

I'm happy to be able to share another panoramic photo with you here. Tom Eckles used his iPhone to capture the beauty of Anchor Bay Beach on New Year's Day.

What a great way to celebrate the first day of 2013. Yes, we are having beautiful but cold weather here. It's a nice break from all the rain we had in December.

Thanks to Tom for allowing me to share his beautiful photo with you here. To see more of Tom's photography, which is always untouched and honest, here's the link: tomeckles.com

Sharon Albert was hiking at Gualala Point Regional Park this past week when she saw a big rainbow. It crossed the Gualala River and the town of Gualala and seemed to end on the ridge. Using her Samsung Galaxy lll, she took a panoramic photo of the rainbow. I thank Sharon for allowing me to share her photo with you here.

Happy New Year, all. May rainbows be one of the many things that bring you joy in 2013.
