We have a lot of rain in our forecast. And Californians say, "Bring it, Mother Nature!"
Paul Brewer photographed the beautiful sunset from the banks of the Gualala River. You can see the river is currently closed to the Pacific Ocean by the sandbar. Past the sandbar is the ocean.
Mike Nelson also photographed Sunday's sunset from the beach at Gualala Point Regional Park. The colors of the sunset can sometimes make the ocean look purple, a lovely sight.

Mike Nelson trained his camera on the Point Arena Lighthouse as the sun was setting.

If you visit Gualala Point Regional Park, the drive in will take you to this view spot. With the Gualala River lagoon, the town of Gualala on the right, and the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean, Mike Nelson captured a beautiful sight.
