Remi Alexander noticed this little green Sierran Treefrog nestled in a succulent.

These treefrogs eat spiders, flies, ants, and other insects. This little green frog looks like he/she is waiting for something tasty to appear.

Thanks to Remi for allowing me to share her photo with you here.

Heavy fog this morning has given way to bright sunshine this afternoon.

Adrian Bennett was enjoying the afternoon with her friend, Roxanne, when Roxanne noticed something unusual about Adrian's birdhouse. A tiny green frog was peeking out the entrance hole, which is draped with spiderwebs.

I love these treefrogs. Here's a close-up photo of one, taken by Allen Vinson.

And here's a photo of a juvenile Sierran Treefrog taken by Debbie Trujillo. Sure is tiny.

Thanks to Adrian, Allen and Debbie for allowing me to share their photos with you here.

The weather today was so strange. This morning the breeze came from inland and temperatures soared. But by afternoon, the breeze shifted and brought cool fog. I had opened lots of windows with the morning warm weather, but soon had to close them with the billowing fog.

Suzie Chapler photographed a Sierran Treefrog peeking out from one of the orchids she inherited from her mother, Gretchen. It made Suzie smile to see this little frog.

Kristine Rose photographed one in the process of changing color, from green to brown.

Steve and Nancy McLaughlin spotted this Treefrog climbing a window at the big Mother's Day brunch in Plantation. These frogs are excellent climbers - they have suction cups on their fingers and toes!

Thanks to Suzie, Kristine, and Steve for allowing me to share their photos with you here.

We are having a warm and breezy day on the coast today - no fog!
