I have previously shared photos of the fantastic sunset we had on Valentine's Day. Rozann Grunig was in Jenner that day when the sun was setting. She got this dramatic photo with the lights reflected in the Russian River.

Paul Brewer takes the most beautiful sunrise and sunset photos. Here is one he took near Jenner showing the Russian River with the town on the right and the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

I have had numerous sightings of a Bald Eagle in the Jenner area and, in fact, I saw one at the mouth of the Russian River last week. But this is the first photo I've seen of a pair, presumably a mated pair. Paul Brewer recently photographed these two adult Bald Eagles.

They were feasting on a fish. We have high hopes that we will have a nesting pair of Bald Eagles on the Mendonoma Coast.

Peter Cracknell noticed a rock formation apparently looking at him.

Who's looking at you - a rock in Jenner by Peter Cracknell

This is a rock formation near Jenner in Sonoma County. It does look like it is peering at Peter!

Thanks to Peter for allowing me to share his fun photo with you here.

Paul Brewer continues to study an Osprey nest upriver from Jenner and he is kindly sharing some of his photos with us.

The first photo shows the baby on the left as Mom lands on the nest.

And below the young one is exercising its wings.

And in the photo below the juvenile Osprey is taking its first "steps." It may not be too long before this Osprey fledges.
