On Jan. 28th, Drew Fagan photographed this sunset from his art studio north of Gualala.

The night before he captured this sunset over Sail Rock.

Each are lovely in their own way. Thanks to Drew for allowing me to share the beauty he sees from his place. To see Drew's art, here's the link: drewfagan.com

The wild weather that has been hitting the Mendonoma Coast gives us a chance for rainbow. Drew Fagan recently caught a brilliant one with a faint second one to the left of it.

And here's a bonus rainbow I took a year ago in December. It was too big to catch the entire rainbow with the camera I have.

May you have a rainbow day soon! Thanks to Drew for allowing me to share his photo with you here. To see Drew's artwork, here is the link to his website: http://drewfagan.com/

Such a lovely scene. Those flowers must be very tasty. Drew Fagan entitled this photo "A fawn in a candy store."

Endlessly fascinating, Bobcats are seen hunting rodents in grassy meadows. It is wonderful that a wild creature such as a Bobcat is free to coexist with us. Rick Wilson photographed one on The Sea Ranch.

Thanks to Rick for sharing his photo with us. To see another great Bobcat photo, this one by Drew Fagan, here's the link: http://www.mendonomasightings.com/2011/06/09/bobcat-caught-in-mid-air-by-drew-fagan-in-gualala/ He photographed the Bobcat leaping in mid-air.

Bucks with their antlers covered in soft velvet have been seen recently. Drew Fagan photographed two of them north of Gualala. He entitled his photo, "Two gentlemen in velvet lunching outside my studio."

Nice view Drew has from his art studio!
