Many coast residents, and visitors too I would imagine, photographed the sunset on September 22. Tricia Schuster was one of them, photographing near her Sea Ranch home.

Paul Brewer also photographed the sunset, this from the vantage of Gualala.

And I photographed it too, a little further north of Paul, from our home in Anchor Bay.

Autumn is know for beautiful sunsets, as storms to our north bring clouds, but this one from the last day of summer was one to remember.

Thanks to Tricia and Paul for allowing me to share their photos with you here.

We need the onshore breezes to return to blow away the smoke that has enveloped the coast. The forecast shows they should arrive...may it be soon!

There are some sunsets that you just shake your head, as you are having a hard time believing what you are seeing. Tricia Schuster photographed such a sunset last Thursday.

Sunset are a specialty of the Mendonoma Coast!

Thanks to Tricia for allowing me to share her photos with you here.

Foggy right at the coastline, sunny and mild at our place in Anchor Bay.

Paul Brewer takes some wonderful sunset photos. This time the view to the south held all the color.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood - yes, we recently watched that excellent film with Tom Hanks. We loved it. It's sunny with gentle breezes today. You'd think it was a normal spring day...

It was a stunning day yesterday when Bill Oxford went out to do some videoing. The sunset was stellar too. This was taken at The Sea Ranch.

Bill wrote, "Initially, I was just doing a location-scout with my iPhone and planned to return with my video equipment the next day, but was happy with the footage I got. My purpose was to share on Facebook to encourage people to get outside and let nature re-ground them. The Covid 19 global pandemic is very stressful. Hopefully, this video will help relieve some of that stress and get minds off of the virus for awhile."

The storm that was forecast apparently went to the south of us. So we were gifted with another sunny, warm day. Spring doesn't know...

Paul Brewer captures many of our beautiful sunsets on the Mendonoma Coast. Saturday's sunset was quite beautiful.

It's feels like a privilege to be able to witness such beauty, and to be able to share it with you here. Thanks to Paul for allowing me to do that. To see more of Paul's nature photography, here is the link to his website: http://www.capturingnatureswonders.com/

A high pressure system is keeping any storms from reaching us here. It's 75 degrees this afternoon, which surely feels odd. There are hints of changes in the long range forecast, but the rest of this week is sunny and mild - a good time to head for the coast!
