Anne Mary Schaefer has an eye for beauty. She captured this beautiful sunset at Manchester State Beach recently.

She calls this a "two sunset day," as the sun is reflected in the shallow water on the beach. Just lovely!

Anne Mary is a talented pet photographer. You can see her work at her website: http://www.pawpawrazzipetphotography.com/

I thank her for allowing me to share her photo with you here.

Cooks Beach has become a favorite spot for many of us. Look at the beautiful sunset photo Eric Duff took there recently. A Western Gull nonchalantly walks across the sand.

We have one more storm coming in this afternoon, the forecasters say. Then spring will make its presence known, with warm, sunny days ahead.

Kathy Bishop recently photographed this sunset in Anchor Bay.

Clouds from approaching storms, or departing storms, give Mother Nature the chance to paint the sky in various vibrant colors.

Thanks to Kathy for allowing me to share her photo with here.

Once again the beauty of a sunset took our breath away. Christmas day's sunset was amazing.

The Pacific Ocean glowed a beautiful pink and then mauve as the sunset evolved.

A nice “Merry Christmas” greeting came in from Anchor Bay Campground residents, Jim Corbett and Sheila Shapiro. I titled Sheila’s photo “Nature’s Christmas tree,” as it is made of driftwood, abalone shells, beach glass and other shells.

Thanks to Sheila for allowing me to share her photo with you here.

We are having lovely weather here on the Mendonoma Coast. And there are lots of visitors here to enjoy the balmy days. Gray Whales, heading south, are being seen. The best place to watch their migration is from the bluffs of the Point Arena Lighthouse.
