Paul Brewer photographed this Bushtit, seemingly posing just for him.

Bushtits are small songbirds. I love how they look for insects, oftentimes upside down! They often can be found with the flocks of Chestnut-backed Chickadees that we also have in our area.

    Lovely photograph of a beautiful little bird.
    Thank you for sharing their bird-call audio files, when I played it, both of my cats came in from outside and looked right at my laptop quizzically! Apparently the call of the Bushtit is compelling. 😀

    Compelling to cats! Our golden retriever, Duffy, just snoozed through the calls.
